One of two non-fiction titles allegedly written with his wife, Gerda. According
to both of them, Gerda contributed no writing to this project, but her name
appears on the book due to the way that the contract was structured. Koontz
disputes authorship, claiming the publisher took liberties with the manuscript
and refuses to autograph this book for that reason. Having read it, I can
assure you that it cannot possibly be entirely the work of Koontz. At his worst
he would be incapable of writing this badly. One thing about Koontz: he is a
stickler for proper use of the English language. The same cannot be said about
the person reponsible for at least 75% of this book. This is one of the most
difficult titles to locate and will probably cost you a small fortune. It only
appeared in trade paperback.
