This is the second novel in the "Christopher Snow" trilogy. The lettered edition was issued in a stamped leather traycase with a full-color plate inlaid on the top and a different dustjacket. Additionally, there is a bound-in page marker and several full-color plates throughout the book. A very attractive 52 copy edition. They are marked from "A' to "ZZ". The numbered edition was issued with a black cloth slipcase and are numbered "1" through "698". The trade edition is plentiful and can often be found in "as new" condition for a good deal less than the original cover price.

The trade first edition has a $26.95 price on the dustjacket as well as "A Bantam Book / January 1999" and the printing history "BVG 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1" on the copyright page.
