This was the only book released under the pseudonym "Aaron Wolfe". The
original title was to have been
Cold Terror
. For a time in the 1980's, this book was rumoured to have been written by
Stephen King. Koontz rewrote the entire novel for its 1994 Ballantine Books
reissue as
Winter Moon
, claiming that not one sentence of the original book remained. This title is
not terribly difficult to find, but tends to be pricey.
You have the first edition if it states
"A LASER BOOK/first published 1975"
on the copyright page.
