The first novel in the "Christopher Snow" trilogy. The lettered edition was issued with a leather traycase and different artwork from the numbered edition. The rear of its dustjacket shows a picture of the author, not a continuation of the artwork, so it is not represented. It is very difficult to locate and the price is higher than even the serious collector might wish to pay. The numbered edition was issued with a black cloth slipcase. The scan shows the front and back of the dustjacket of this volume. The numbered edition is fairly difficult to locate, and is to the higher end of the casual collector's range. The trade edition is plentiful and can often be found in "as new" condition for a good deal less than the original cover price.
