"Dragonfly" was the last of the three novels released using the pseudonym "K.R. Dwyer". While neither edition is particularly difficult to find, the price is usually a bit higher than the casual collector might wish to pay, although the advent of the internet auction sites have actually brought the price down. This is an inventive, gripping novel. Perhaps Koontz will someday republish it.

You have the hardback first edition if the copyright page states "First Edition" just beneath the somewhat curious number series "2 4 6 8 9 7 5 3" and if there is a $7.95 price on the top inside front of the dustjacket and the date code "8/75" on the lower inside rear of the dustjacket. You have the first paperback edition if it states "First Ballantine Books Edition: August, 1976" at the bottom of the copyright page.
