"The Door to December" was originally written for release under the "Leigh Nichols" pseudonym, but in the United States it was published as being written by "Richard Paige". In England, however, this title was published under the pseudonym "Leigh Nichols". Please re-read the previous sentences before sending an e-mail claiming to have found a mistake. That will save you some embarrassment and will save me the trouble of writing to you to point it out. :-)

It was only released in paperback in the United States. It is not terribly difficult to locate a copy, as it was quite popular and went through several printings. This novel was revised and released under his own name by NAL/Signet in 1994.

You have the paperback first American edition if the copyright page states "First Printing, June 1985"
above the number series "1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9".
